ARC Raiders UE5 Performance Guide

ARC Raiders is built on Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen global illumination active by default. Lumen produces stunning dynamic lighting but is significantly more expensive than traditional rasterized lighting. On hardware below an RTX 3070 or RX 6800 XT, using FSR Quality mode is effectively required to maintain 60fps at 1080p on medium settings.

DLSS 3 Frame Generation on RTX 40-series cards makes a dramatic difference in this game specifically the performance multiplier from Frame Generation plus the visual quality of DLSS 4 provides an experience that feels close to high-end native rendering on mid-tier RTX 40 hardware.

ARC Raiders requires DLSS or FSR to hit target framerates on most hardware. Lumen lighting in UE5 is computationally expensive.
