Common questions
How accurate is the GPU detection?

Very accurate on Windows and most Linux systems. Your browser’s WebGL extension exposes the real GPU renderer string and we match it against a database of 60+ cards. On some mobile browsers or privacy-restricted setups the renderer may be blocked and you’ll need to select manually.

Why does my RAM show 8GB when I have more?

Browsers cap navigator.deviceMemory at 8GB for privacy reasons. We map that reading to 16GB automatically as a conservative estimate — correct it manually if needed.

My GPU isn’t in the list — what do I do?

Select the closest equivalent by generation and performance tier. The database is updated regularly. From my experience, one tier off rarely changes the final verdict.

The tool says I can run it but the game runs badly — why?

System requirements are thresholds, not performance guarantees. Background processes, outdated drivers, or thermal throttling can all reduce real-world performance.
